I wanted to share my story, the helmet would eventually sacrifice it's self to help save my life. I liked the helmet and the built in Bluetooth. So sweet of a deal, that I bought a matching set of the flat black V136 helmets in size M. The built in Bluetooth was awesome! My fiancé and I enjoyed the ride and the ability to talk to each other! What a deal! I loved it. Unfortunately, and this is where it gets sad, my awesome helmet sacrificed it's self, in order to save my life. On Wednesday, September 24, 2014. At approximately 6:40PM EST, while travelling at approximately 45 MPH, I lost control of my 1978 Suzuki GS550. I don't recall any of it. An ambulance rid to the Emergency room would later reveal: a concussion, 3 broken ribs (two right & one left), two fractured vertebrae (T6&7), a left collapsed lung, a broken left collar bone and scapula, a huge bruise on the right thigh, and a few small red marks on my head and face. When you look at the attached shots of the helmet, you'll think I should have suffered some serious head and face injuries. I did not. Because of the quality of your product. There is no question in my mind that your helmet helped in keeping me safe and saving my life. No question at all! Look at the condition of the chin bar and left side of helmet... Unbelievable! I won't be riding anymore this year. I will need a few months to heal and winter will be here soon… I already have my eye on a Flat black V210 for my next helmet.
